The Lennoxlove Trust is a charitable organization dedicated to the preservation and public enjoyment of Scotland’s rich architectural and cultural heritage. Established to protect and maintain Lennoxlove House, a historic estate in Haddington, East Lothian, the Trust ensures that this significant building and its surrounding gardens, collections, and fixtures are conserved for future generations.
| Objectifs.
Rescue and Rehabilitation: To provide immediate care and rehabilitation for seals in distress, including injured, sick, or orphaned seals, with the goal of returning them to their natural habitat.
Research and Monitoring: To conduct scientific research on seal behavior, health, and populations, using the data to improve seal welfare and inform conservation efforts.
Conservation and Habitat Protection: To advocate for and contribute to the protection of seal habitats in Orkney, ensuring that local ecosystems remain healthy and supportive of seal populations.
Public Awareness and Education: To raise awareness about seal welfare, conservation, and the importance of healthy marine ecosystems. Through outreach programs, we aim to engage the local community and visitors in seal conservation.
